We are excited that Stray Paws Rescue will be back at the Oakville shop for a meet & greet on Saturday, May 20, from 11 am - 3 pm, with some terrific pets looking for their "furever" homes.

Meet handsome "TriPaw" Luke, who doesn't let that slow him down! Luke had a bad back leg when we took him in. After a couple vet appointments it was decided that we needed to have his leg amputated for his wellbeing. He is now our fun loving TRI-PAW. Nothing slows him down long. Luke is learning fast and furious how to do anything and everything on 3 legs. He’s neutered, just under a year old, and seems to like most other dogs. He wants to play with the cats, which obviously doesn’t go over well. He chases the one that runs away so if you have a cat that stands it’s ground they would be good. Loves other dogs and kids. Just wants attention and someone to play with.

Stray Paws Rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit, foster-based rescue. They believe it is their moral responsibility to protect and improve the lives of abused, abandoned and homeless pets and to place them in loving permanent homes. They pull animals from high kill shelters on their final minutes and off the St. Louis city streets. Stray Paws feeds north city strays. They also set humane traps for the lost and dumped pets.
