Meet Maddie!
Maddie has lived a neglected life, most of it was spent in a bathroom. Then she was dropped off at a vet. Good thing we found her! So far she loves exploring the yard, she fits right in with the rest of the furry crew, no shell shock noticed. Her eyes melt any heart!
Welcome to your new life sweet girl! #seniorrescue #rescueme

Harter’s Hospice Rescue is a non-profit animal rescue organization. Their mission is to save elderly dogs from being abandoned and dumped in kill shelters and find them a home to live out the rest of their years comfortably. Whether a short amount of time or they thrive with love, their foster homes provide the love and comfort for these lovable, older dogs. They are a foster based rescue and are successful through the support and donations of the community.

Hospice in this case doesn’t necessarily mean they are dying dogs. They are elder or have a disability and need a gentle, understanding home to lay their paws for the rest of their time on earth. Sometimes they begin to thrive when given a loving chance to. Sometimes they just need care and comfort and to leave this earth knowing what love is. That is Harter's Hospice Rescue's goal.
