No Kill Columbia – Spotlight Organization for August

Our Spotlight Organization for August is No Kill Columbia, a grassroots, volunteer-driven, animal advocacy, non-profit organization dedicated to saving lives of companion animals in the central Missouri area.

Purchase our Spotlight Treats for only $.95 each, and all proceeds will be donated to to help No Kill Columbia meet their goal of reducing the number of unwanted puppies and kittens, placing an emphasis on funding for low-cost spay and neuter vouchers, with the vision of a high volume, low-cost spay and neuter clinic within the community.

Another way to support No Kill Columbia is to come out to the 6th annual “Columbia Pet Expo Unleashed,” presented by Treats Unleashed on Saturday, August 25, from 9 Am to 1 PM, at Stephens Lake Park. Proceeds from event will go to No Kill Columbia’s Spay & Neuter Project.

Their Spay Neuter Clinic offers low cost services to all of Mid Missouri. The clinic has already performed 7,000+ high quality spay and neuter surgeries on pets whose families may have not been able to afford the surgeries otherwise. This has greatly reduced the number of unwanted puppies and kittens in central Missouri!

More about No Kill Columbia
They are animal loving citizens, adopters, foster parents, past employees, volunteers and supporters for local animal organizations, who have witnessed too many innocent and adoptable animals taken needlessly, have united together and are determined to raise awareness and educate animal lovers about the “No Kill” Model of sheltering, and its relevance on “quality of life” in a community. Thanks to their efforts in the “No Kill” movement, No Kill Columbia is within reach.
