A few days ago our wonderful Kirkwood shop dog, Honey, passed over the Rainbow Bridge.
Honey was born on Oct. 31, 2006, a Halloween puppy! Her favorite things included treats, belly rubs, laying outside in the grass, giving kisses, and more treats ). Because of her love of treats, we always referred to her as “Quality Control” in the TU shops; she made sure to test every batch before it was ready for sale.
Honey had a very sweet gentle nature, and was a great source of comfort for many throughout her life. She helped teach her sister, Reggie, how to be a good dog; she loved coming to work each day to nap, eat treats, and say hi to all our customers. Honey was loved by everyone at the Columbia, Chesterfield, Creve Coeur and Kirkwood shops.
Her last days were filled with family, friends, and food (cheeseburgers, bacon and ice cream to name a few!), and she passed away quietly at home with Reggie and Allison by her side. Allison said that they were so lucky to have had her for almost 11 years, and that they love and miss her very much! All of us will miss her, too.
