Love A Golden & Pet’s Second Chance – May Spotlight Organizations

Hello May!

This month we are shining the spotlight on Love A Golden Rescue and Pet’s Second Chance Corgi Rescue. Both of these rescue groups have been helping abandoned, stray or surrendered Corgis, Goldens and other dogs for more than 17 years.

Spotlight treats are just 95¢ each, and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to these two great rescue groups so that they can continue to provide veterinary care, foster care and nurturing for Corgis and Goldens until they are ready for their furever homes!

Each month we spotlight an organization that is making a difference in the lives of pets in our communities with in-store events and and the donation of the entire proceeds from the sale of our specially decorated Spotlight treats. Treats Unleashed donates the supplies and the time it takes to make these treats, but it is your purchases of these paw print treats and support that have allowed us to donated more than $5,200 so far this year. Thank you for partnering with us to make a difference in the lives of animals in our communities who need a helping hand!

About Pet’s Second Chance
Pet’s Second Chance, Inc. was founded in 2000 as a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Located in St. Louis, their dedication is to the many Pembroke and Cardigan Welsh Corgis or Corgi mixes who have been abandoned by their owners due to divorce, moving, birth of children, and the many other reasons that families may no longer be able to keep their Corgi. They accept all Corgis regardless of age or physical condition from MIssouri, northern Arkansas and southern Illinois.

About Love A Golden
Love a Golden Rescue finds permanent homes for Golden Retrievers who have been: surrendered by their owners; removed from shelters; unclaimed as strays; or older Golden Retrievers who are out of options. Their main focus is Missouri, but they will help any Golden, especially senior Goldens, in the Midwest. Love a Golden Rescue is an all-volunteer group dedicated to the rescue of Golden Retrievers as well as education about responsible dog ownership. They are a charitable 501(c)(3) nonprofit Missouri corporation based in St. Louis.
